The purpose of this course is to understand the physiological mechanisms and organ systems that allow humans to engage in physical activity and how these systems are changed by chronic activity training and disuse. This course will focus on developing skills needed to successfully secure licensure as a PT, supervise and manage staff and students, plan and market therapy services, and advocate for legislative changes to state and federal regulations related to the provision of health care services.
